BASHKKA
Her name may derive from the Turkish word for “different,” and that sense of distinct identity runs through every aspect of BASHKKA’s expression. Known for sensually acerbic, high-impact sets and outspoken cultural and political advocacy, she brings both intensity and intention to the dancefloor.
Shaped by a decade in New York and inspired by Black and Brown trans women, she channels the spirit of the city’s Ballroom scene into every performance. From her residency at Munich’s Blitz Club to regular appearances at Berghain’s Panorama Bar, her sets radiate an unapologetic, intoxicating energy.
Beyond the booth, her activism and commitment to SWANA and queer representation continue to redefine the counter-cultural potential of electronic music, with her forthcoming debut EP marking the next chapter.
