Our growing green mindset reflects how we build WECANDANCE, with care for our environment, our community and everything that comes with it.

We don’t see sustainability as a fixed goal, but as a process. One that evolves with every edition, every choice and every person involved.

2025

Expanded sustainable travel with more bicycle parking and direct night trains from Antwerp and Brussels.

2024

Improved waste management, introduced

a non-alcoholic bar and expanded smoke-free zones.

2023

Strengthened reuse systems, introduced anti-spike measures and expanded safe space initiatives.

2022

Expanded circular systems, introduced reusable cups and refillable bottles, and strengthened recycling and safety across the festival.

2022 - 2015

Focused on local sourcing, reusable materials and reducing single-use plastics.

2013 - 2014

Introduced reusable cups, eco-friendly infrastructure and more sustainable food options.
