As a bright-eyed youngster in Amsterdam, Job Jobse found his way into Trouw week after week, drawn in by the music and the culture surrounding it. His first break came unexpectedly, playing his debut set in the club’s toilet.

From there he became a familiar presence at Trouw, building a reputation as one of its standout residents and soon earning international recognition. His sets took him from local floors to major festivals and clubs worldwide, while he remained rooted in Amsterdam through his Strangelove nights, inviting artists he feels a strong musical connection with.

2018 marked the beginning of De Vlieger, created from Job’s desire to release music from friends and introduce new talent.
